Once upon a time, eighteen friends embarked on an adventure to save their entire race from total devastation. But the obstacles they faced during their journey tested them in every possible way...

Through the Towering Oaks is a private RP musebox for the Homestuck fansession Mythbusted. Things are roughly the same as canon’s Alternia, with a few alterations. Technically speaking there’s less discrimination between castes because The Radiante is a benevolent ruler who believes in equality, but the imperial lusus’ powers instills feelings of distrust and bloodlust in trolls, so the empress’ social advancements are effectively taken back to square one, and there’s little she can do while she’s on diplomatic trips across the galaxy. A council of seadwellers rules in her absence.

Any special psychic powers are generally discouraged in the society because they’re seen as a lowly thing since mostly lowbloods have them (sort of similar to how witchcraft was viewed in the middle ages). Limebloods are considered too dangerous to let live because of their often very strong powers and are to be publicly executed.
